A Project of Texans for Natural Gas

On July 9, 2015, the California Council on Science & Technology (CCST) released its independent scientific assessment of fracking in California, confirming that fracking has not contaminated groundwater in California. This was certainly good news, but fracktivists and their friends in Hollywood were less than thrilled that yet another scientific report debunked their political agenda. Here are the findings:

  1. California scientists found fracking has not caused groundwater contamination in California.
  2. And the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency — yes, the EPA! — recently found that fracking does not pose a serious risk to groundwater.
  3. Californians who care about the environment and our economy celebrated the study.
  4. But anti-fracking groups and Hollywood activists weren’t very happy.
  5. In fact, celebrity fracktivists just couldn’t stand the good news.
  6. Some celebrity fracktivists even felt slighted by the announcement.
  7. Now they’re trying to run away from yet another report showing fracking does not pollute groundwater.
  8. Some fracktivists are even trying to dismiss the CCST report as just another one hit wonder.
  9. Unfortunately, anti-fracking celebrities can’t run from the report’s findings or their fracking fiction.
  10. The truth is in: Fracking has not contaminated groundwater in California.
